No matter what volunteer experience you decide on, there will be countless opportunities to learn new practical, social and communication skills that will help you thrive as a human being. If you love inspiring people, then STEAM Builder would love to have you as a volunteer. Perhaps the biggest (and least discussed) benefit of volunteering is the chance to break out of your daily routine and shatter your comfort zone. While a financial donation to an organization will help with existing needs, volunteering helps keep the organization, and the cause, afloat for the future. It’s one of the best ways to make a real impact in the world.
