“Building The 21st Century”

STEAM Saturday w/Mr. Tyrome “Landing a Spacecraft on mars”

Participants entering 4th through 8th grade

STEAM Saturday teach 21st-century skills for future careers, and foster valuable 21st-century life skills like problem-solving, creativity, and collaboration.

Students will experience how “Landing A Spacecraft On Mars” can be achieved by understanding Newton’s Laws of Motion, as well as, the relationship between force, mass, and acceleration. Students will be placed in teams, and using the Engineer Design Process to design, build, and test their prototype.

STEAM Saturday will run from 9 AM to Noon.
